Every kit is covered for 12 months
If anything goes wrong due to a manufacturing defect, we fix it or replace it - no questions asked.
What's covered
- Hardware defects in the CarPlay module or harnesses
- Connectivity failures due to manufacturing faults
- Screen interface or display issues caused by the kit
- Firmware problems that cannot be resolved via update
- Any kit that causes loss of factory MMI functions (steering wheel controls, reverse camera, etc.) due to a defect
- Returns if we send the wrong kit for your vehicle
What's not covered
- Physical damage caused during installation (broken trim, bent connectors)
- Water or moisture damage
- Kits modified or tampered with after delivery
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues caused by incorrect installation not following the included guide
Duration
Every kit sold by AudiCarPlay.com is covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery. If a defect occurs within this period, we will repair or replace the kit at no cost to you.
How to make a warranty claim
Email us at support@audicarplayau.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video where applicable. We respond within 24 hours and will guide you through the next steps. In most cases we can resolve the issue without you needing to send anything back.
Replacement or repair
We will first attempt to resolve the issue remotely via our support team (firmware update, re-configuration, or installation guidance). If the fault cannot be resolved remotely, we will send a replacement unit or component. Return shipping for faulty items is covered by us.
Effect on vehicle warranty
Our kits are plug-and-play and connect via existing harness connectors - no cutting, splicing, or permanent modification is required. The installation is fully reversible. This means the kit should not affect your vehicle's manufacturer warranty. However, we recommend confirming this with your dealer if you have concerns.
